A night walk through The Living Gallery
The Living Gallery is now a long, dark corridor you can walk. Each work waits in its own light, and comes alive as you reach it.
Fancy a stroll? Every work in The Living Gallery now hangs along a long corridor, lit only by a line of light in the ceiling and a lamp over each frame. Come in with the sound on, and walk.
Each one comes alive as you reach it. Scroll, or swipe up, to walk to the next work. Stop in front of it and its story plays on the wall. Drag sideways to look along the corridor.
Tap Discover under a work, and a few things come within reach:
- The poem, on a little label: the lines written for the work.
- A tape measure. Pick a size and an edition, and the tape shows how big the print will be.
- A remote, with a key for each of the work’s stories. Press one, and that story plays on the wall. For a Smart AR work, its smart story comes first. For Bloom, the keys are its three packs.
- A card in a hand. Tap it, and the work goes into your bag. You stay in the corridor.
Stop at the Typewriter. Confessions of a Typewriter plays its MINIESE Messages story here too, and a letter is typed onto its sheet, key by key, as you watch.
Pass it on. The share button at the top sends a friend straight to the work you are standing in front of.
You will find the way in on The Living Gallery’s page, just under its title.
