The Living Museum’s store room is open — in the dark. Your phone is the torch. Find a masterpiece on the racks, and see it on your own wall.
Behind every museum is a store room. Ours holds the whole Living Museum — every work hung rack after rack, each in a frame made to its measure, with a brass plate bearing its catalogue number.
The lights are off.
Your phone is the torch. Tilt it, or drag a finger, and the beam moves across the racks. On a computer, the mouse is the torch. Listen closely: the low hum of the room, the odd creak of a rack, the click as the torch comes on.
Catch a painting in the light and it stirs. Every work in the Vault comes alive when the beam finds it. Tap one to read its label.
Bring it home. From its label, the painting goes straight onto your own wall, at its true size, through your phone’s camera. If you would like to keep it, one tap puts it in your cart.
