New in MINIESE AR — the Magic Filter store, and stories printed on paper
Magic Filter is a new store inside MINIESE AR, of filters that change how the stories look on your artwork. The first is Paper finish, which shows every story as if printed on matte rag paper. Unlock it once for $9.99 and it is yours on your account.
Your stories, your way. MINIESE AR now has Magic Filter, a small store of filters that change how the stories look when they play on your artwork. There is one to begin with, and more are on the way.
The first filter: Paper finish. A story usually plays as bright, clean video over your print. Turn on Paper finish and it looks printed instead: the colours a little softer, the darkest parts lifted like ink on rag paper, and the grain of the paper running through every frame. It sits on the wall as part of the print, not as a screen laid over it.
Try before you buy. In the store, each filter is a tile. Until you unlock it, it is grey with a small lock on it. Tap it anyway: its page shows what it does, with a before-and-after like the one at the top of this page, and its price.
Unlock it once, keep it. Paper finish is $9.99, paid once. It belongs to your account, not to one artwork or one phone: it works on every MINIESE artwork you open, on any phone you sign in on. A promo code can be used at checkout.
How to get it.
- Tap the chip on your artwork to open MINIESE AR.
- Sign in, from Menu → Sign In. Magic Filter is for signed-in members.
- Open Menu → Magic Filter, just below My Artworks, and tap Paper finish.
- Tap Unlock · $9.99 and pay. When you come back, it is switched on.
- Tap Launch and point your phone at the work.
On and off, whenever you like. Once unlocked, Paper finish has its own switch in Magic Filter. Your phone remembers how you left it. Sign out and the stories go back to how everyone sees them.
More filters are coming to the Magic Filter store. Tell us what you would like your stories to look like.
