Let the arts find you

There are 147 works and 52 stories in the collection now, and a wall that long is a lot to take in. So the shop has a new button, next to the search: Let the arts find you.

Answer up to eight short questions — who it’s for, how old they are, the occasion, how it should feel, what you’d love to see in it, the style, the colours of their walls, where it will hang — and pick as many or as few answers as you like. As you choose, the best match so far appears beside the questions; tap it to see it up close.

Every work has been looked at closely for this: what is in the picture, what happens when it comes alive in AR, and in each of its stories — because sometimes it is the second story that makes a work right for someone.

Would rather say it in your own words? Write a line — a gift for my mum, who misses her garden — or tell us a story of your own, and we’ll find the works that echo it.

And if nothing is quite what you hoped for, make a wish. We read every one, and they help decide what we make next.
